Sustainable online shop selling Ghanaian headscarves and supporting local women

WORDS FROM HOUSE OF HUE ONLINE

We are a socially minded concept store, bringing together a carefully curated and created selection of products.

We are mindfully seeking products that celebrate BAME women as well as cater to people from other demographic groups. This philosophy is also entrenched in the way we do business - our primary goal is to add value to the lives of the marginalised. Whether it’s in regards to the marginalised who are trapped in cycles of poverty and/or disenfranchisement, or the marginalised who are made to feel less significant than their counterparts, we desire to foster an inclusive culture of beauty that stands up for social progression.

Our first project is ADUKU, a range of headwraps made in Ghana by Ghanaian women, using Ghanaian fabric. We intentionally work with local women to support their livelihoods, and we use Ghanaian made fabrics in order to support the Ghanaian textile industry.
