Welcome to Lucy & Yak!

Our story starts in July 2017. Founders Chris and Lucy started the Lucy & Yak journey in New Zealand after spending hours on the beach making tobacco pouches from old clothing to sell to travellers. Fast forward a few years and they found themselves selling vintage clothing from their beloved van which they fondly named Yak. During their time selling the vintage goods this sparked their passion for fashion and realised that they wanted to create a fashion brand themselves, Lucy & Yak was then created.

Following 3 years since the launch, the brand has grown organically to a team of 50+ across HQ warehouse in Barnsley, South Yorkshire, our first store in Brighton in the North Laine and most recently, our design studio office in Brighton’s Kemptown.

Committed to being eco-friendly, Lucy & Yak fabrics are ethically sourced, and all packages sent out contain only items that are either biodegradable, re-usable, recycled and, of course, wearable.
