We’re on a mission to democratise eco-friendly baby care.
The Pura story started in Cheshire after parents Guy and Abi Fennell discovered that 90% of baby wipes sold in the UK baby contained hidden plastic.
Digging a little further, they learned that plastic baby wipes were the main culprit behind sewer clogging fatbergs, and that wipes could last in landfill for decades, causing vast microplastic pollution.
So, Pura was born with a mission to bring a sustainable and affordable alternative to all families.

At Pura, we believe that being eco-friendly is no longer a luxury, but a necessity, and that we should all be able to look after our planet, simply by looking after our families.
Pura puts babies first, with anti-allergy, organic ingredients and sustainable, biodegradable materials, protecting their skin and protecting their future too.

Our eco credentials
Pura’s baby wipes are 100% plastic-free, 100% compostable and biodegradable. Made from sustainable plant fibres, they are also available in a flushable version, with Fine to Flush accreditation.
Each wipe contains 99% water and organic aloe vera and no perfume, alcohol or chlorine. They are suitable for sensitive and eczema-prone skin, certified vegan and accredited by the British Skin Foundation, Allergy UK, the FSC and the Soil Association. They are also approved by midwives and are dermatologically and clinically tested.
We’re proud to work in partnership with the Woodland Trust. Together, we’re carbon offsetting by planting, protecting and restoring trees across the UK.
