WORDS FROM YESTERDAY TODAY

Yesterday Today blossomed out of a love of sourcing vintage textiles & homewares, and the importance of being environmentally conscious.

I always felt really sad when I saw amazing embroideries and fabrics at antique markets just laying there not being used. Having a background in textile design, I have always appreciated the craftsmanship and time that has gone into these pieces - so I really love giving older pieces a new lease of life. A lot of the textiles hold historic heritage to their cultures, I have provided a little breakdown of the symbolism of the embroidered motifs in the product descriptions.

Alongside reworking textiles and fabrics into homeware + clothing, I source homeware pieces from various decades. I bring cohesion between the items in creative photoshoots, helping people envision these miscellaneous items in their homes from a contemporary angle.

All products are one of a kind as I am always working with small quantities of fabrics, and I cannot determine what I will find next. The ‘cards & gift’ section of the website is always being updated with gift bundles which is really handy if you’re looking for a unique special gift!
