OUR FREEDOM PROGRAMME

Our mission is to empower vulnerable and trafficked women through meaningful employment opportunities and to build a sustainable life free from slavery and exploitation.

For each beautiful garment created, there is an equally beautiful change happening to the woman who made it, this is our Beulah butterfly effect.

Our Freedom Programme in 4 initiatives.

The origins of our freedom programme date back to 2009, when Beulah founders Natasha and Lavinia embarked on a volunteer mission to India and witnessed the devastating reality of modern day slavery, and cycle of re-exploitation if positive opportunities are absent. Determined to create a real difference they founded Beulah, with the aim to create opportunities for women trapped in these situations, empowering them to break the cycle of poverty and achieve long lasting freedom through skilled craft and employment.

 

THE EXTRA 10%

We invest 10% of all Beulah profit into projects and partners who support our mission to empower vulnerable and trafficked women through meaningful employment opportunities.

 

FREEDOM DESIGNS

We celebrate new freedom designs each month, directly produced by formerly trafficked and vulnerable women.

 

OUR COMMUNITY

We connect our customers to our mission through events, campaigns and in-store clothing recycling.

 

HER FUTURE

We deliver employability training at our Head Office in London to survivors of human trafficking.
